Our mission is to promote, encourage and generate economic and industrial growth in Cooperstown and the surrounding area and to support and encourage community development to enhance the quality of life in our community.
The three primary tasks of our organization are to:
- Maintain and assist in job retention and business expansions
- To encourage relocation and expansion of quality business to Cooperstown
- To act as a facilitator and resource for business, individual entrepreneurs and nonprofit groups.
This organization is committed to building alliances and fostering good working relationships between the City of Cooperstown and surrounding communities. We also serve as an advocate for new and expanding business ventures. We recognize the need to have a good quality of life in order to support the residents and employees of our community, and we support community development efforts to improve housing, address infrastructure needs and promote tourism in our community and region.
The Cooperstown Griggs CO Economic Development Corporation is a 501(c)(3) organization. Section 501(c)(3) is the ability to accept contributions and donations that are tax deductible to the donor.
